About Ms.Ashley
Your Preschool Teacher
Hello Friends! My Name is Ashley Nicole Gallien. Born and raised in Houston, Texas in 1981.I am a high school graduate and earned a bachelors degree in business marketing. I am a mother to a darling 19 month old girl and a fur baby! I have always had a passion to work with children. I had the pleasure of having my first job being in an environment where I was hired to work with children of all ages. At that very moment i knew this was the field I needed to pursue! From then on over the years I worked in daycare's in many different age groups from infants, toddlers, preschool and pre-K I leaned and accomplished many different skills that quickly promoted me to a lead teacher position. In my opinion, having all the training in the world does not compare to having a love for children. That is the true foundation of being a great teacher! I continued in the daycare field for 12 years until I became a teacher assistant at an elementary school in Houston in the special education department! I absolutely loved working there but I decided to be a stay at home mom and plan to home school my daughter. I always dreamed of having my own daycare but since having my daughter I wanted her to be my only focus and I just knew I could not put in the time and dedication needed to open a school. Although I LOVE staying home with my daughter I still had the itch to want to make a difference in the education world and better children lives! I just didn’t know how to incorporate that and being a full time, hands on mom.
I prayed and prayed about my situation and one evening I got my answer! I stumbled across an advertisement from a women named Joy Anderson who would guide you and give you all the tools to open a preschool! I immediately opened it and began to investigate. It all sounded amazing and I wanted to learn more so I invested in Joys teachings through her book that gave a complete step by step strategy on how to open a preschool! I educated myself, completed all the task and training's provided to complete my goals and here I am today! Excited, ready, and eagerly willing to teach your child! I hope you can make my dreams a reality!

Brilliant Scholars will follow a STEAM based Curriculum
STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.
STEAM produces many benefits,such as developing soft skills (creativity, problem-solving, collaboration), increasing engagement and motivation, and personalizing the learning experience. As your child's teacher my most important goal to complete, is to enforce this way of learning and prepare your young scholar for the future world they will lead!
